Cordea Savills, the international property investment manager, has appointed Cristiano Ronchi as Head of Investment, Italy and as member of the Board of Directors of the Italian regulated entity, Cordea Savills SGR.

Cristiano’s previous role was Director of Investment, Cordea Savills, Milan. He joined the company in 2005 as Portfolio Manager for Pan-European Funds. His responsibilities at Cordea Savills have included structuring of acquisitions and disposals of assets, arranging project finance and portfolio management of Cordea Savills SGR funds.

Before joining Cordea Savills, Cristiano was Finance Country Manager for Italy at McArthurGlen, which developed and managed designer outlet malls in Europe. He qualified as an accountant with Ernst & Young in 1995, where he worked as an auditor.

Commenting on the new appointment, Richard Lake, Head of Investment, Europe said: “Cristiano’s standards of pan-European portfolio management have always been exemplary. I am delighted he is stepping into the role of Head of Investment. The Italian market has unquestionably turned this year and he will play a key role in the growth of the Cordea Savills' business.”
