We are delighted to announce that Cordea Savills has won the award for the best performing Segregated Pension Fund (above £350 million, December 2014) for its management of a corporate pension fund portfolio at the IPD/IPF Property Investment Awards 2015.

The award ceremony, now in its 15th year, recognises the highest three-year return performance in 12 categories based on fund type and size, and top risk adjusted returns over the full 10 years to December 2014. The awards are therefore objective and the winners are funds that have excelled in performance terms.

George Tindley, Head of UK Investment, commented, “This is a real achievement for the team and testament to a lot of hard work over the past three years and longer. The outperformance is partly due to pursuing a higher risk strategy since the 2008 financial crisis with up to 20% of the portfolio invested in direct development. This is a strategy which focuses on the medium to long term to deliver above average returns.”
