Savills IM appoints Rena Knoepke as Head of Business Development based in Germany. 

Savills Investment Management (“Savills IM”), the international real estate investment manager, has appointed Rena Knoepke as Head of Business Development for German speaking countries.

Rena Knoepke has 16 years’ experience in investment management. Before joining Savills IM, she was working with CORPUS SIREO Real Estate as Director of National Institutions. Prior to that she spent 15 years at Warburg – HIH Invest Real Estate and Henderson Global Investors in Hamburg, Frankfurt and London. During that time, she held positions including Director of Institutional Business and Head of Marketing, Client Services & Distribution, providing her with a deep understanding of institutional investors in Germany and across Europe. She was responsible for managing teams looking after existing investors and implementing the marketing strategy and carried out capital raising activities.

Rena will be based in Hamburg and reporting to the global CEO, Justin O’Connor. She will focus on broadening relationships with German, Austrian and Swiss institutional investors and capital raising for new funds. Rena will add strength to Savills IM’s European platform, which has over 250 employees and EUR 14 billion in assets under management, through her strong relationships with institutions and in-depth knowledge of investor requirements.
